Just a Friendly Reminder
Before bulk pick-up week, residents are disposing of their bulk trash, according to a recent community inspection. This sets off a domino effect within the community. It doesn't look good to have rubbish at the curb for a long time.
Also, it was observed that residents are not keeping their recycling and trash cans in their right places. If you have any issues with appropriate Trash and Recyclable guidelines, please refer to the guidelines below.
For any additional inquiries, kindly contact the HOA office at 609 812-9595. For special pick-up (more than 5 items) call Department of Public Works- 609 296 3600.
The HOA's guidelines for recyclables and trash are listed below.
(Pages 6-7 of the Declaration of Restrictive and Protective Covenants)
Storage of Cans
Trash cans may be stored in the garage or on the side of the house until the evening before the day of pick up. If the trash cans are stored on the side of the house, they shall be placed so shrubbery or other appropriate material screens them. Shield structures must conform to Architectural Control Policy guidelines and must be approved in writing by the ARC.
Time for Placement of Cans at Curb
Trash and recyclables in township-provided receptacles are to be placed at the curb no earlier than 4:00 PM the night before pickup.
Trash is picked up on Tuesday and Recyclables are picked up on Thursday. (Days will be pushed forward one day if a Federal Holiday falls during that week. Please refer to the calendar on the back of The Breeze or the website for any changes.)
Bulk Pickup
In addition to trash and recyclables, brush and bulk items (limit of 5) are collected during the second full week of each month. The bulk collection week is also noted on the calendar included in The Breeze and on the website. Items must be placed at the curb by 5:00 am on the Monday morning of the collection week, but NO earlier than 4:00 pm the night before.
